A dental professional suggested, you have a CT scan for your upcoming procedure.
Increasingly, dentists require these high tech three dimensional scans in order to provide the highest level of care. Traditional dental x-rays frequently fail to highlight or may even misrepresent critical bone and anatomical structures that may change your treatment. This new 3D CT technology enables your doctor to properly pre-plan your case, virtually on a computer, prior to treatment. This process also helps minimize surprises during your actual procedure, helping ensure a successful outcome.

Why does my dentist recommend NWI 3D imaging?
Our dental imaging centers specialize in the acquisition of dental 3D. Unlike a traditional hospital or medical imaging center, Nwi 3D Imaging centers are beautiful, state-of-the-art facilities. The scan is acquired simply by seating you in a comfortable chair while the machine spins 360 degrees around your head. Unlike many other technologies, this procedure is noninvasive and often uses up to 33 times less radiation than medical spiral CT.
After completing minimal paperwork, our friendly and attentive staff will spend about two minutes with you explaining the acquisition process. The scan will take a mere 20 seconds. If you like, you can even review your 3D scan on our large computer screen. Our appointments average 15 minutes from start to finish.
